We are excited to share the news of our first demo of the STM32MP1 System in Package, the OSD32MP15x.
We are excited to announce the debut demonstration of our latest System in Package device, the OSD32MP15x.
This System-in-Package device is built on the first mass market microprocessor from STMicroelectronics, the STM32MP1. Since our announcement at Embedded World we have received amazing feedback from customers, distributors, technology enthusiasts, and media outlets. We just couldn’t wait to get the devices back from fabrication and in our hands to put on a board and launch a demo.
So here it is!  The Debut Demo of the OSD32MP15x, the new ST32MP1 System in Package. Being shown at the STMicroelectronics DEVCON19.
On the left in the video you will see the STM32MP157C-DK2 Discovery kit from STMicroelectronics with a discrete solution. On the right in red, you will see the Octavo Systems OSD32MP15x version of the board with the system in package replacing over 100 components. The demonstration shows the OSD32MP157 System in Package board up and running the Open ST Linux Distribution starter kit software.
We have been very excited to get our first engineering samples this month and start the work of bringing the device into full production.
Stay tuned for information regarding when you can purchase engineering samples from our distributors. It will be very soon! In the meantime, download the technical documentation and applications notes to begin your design today. Contact us for technical support and questions.
In addition to getting the devices up an running we’ve been busy updating all of the technical documentation for the new OSD32MP15x devices.
Check out the product page for the key technical documents:
I am also excited to let you know that we will be featured at the upcoming stops on the ST Tech Tour in North America.
At each venue we will have a spot alongside the ST32MP1 team. If you are near one of the stops come out and learn how easy it is to migrate from the microcontroller to Linux with the OSD32MP15x.
Check out the schedule here and please sign up and come see us!
As you can see, we have a lot going on and are very excited to help you achieve your design goals with the new OSD32MP15x System-in-Package built around the ST32MP1.
