Fitz brings 30 years of experience in business operations, spanning management, finance, acquisitions, IT consulting, and software development. He was a founding executive of Trillium Group, which sold for over $250M, and previously built a real estate software company after working at Goldman Sachs on real estate and distressed assets. Today, he serves as Chairman of Green Source Holdings, an investment vehicle focused on businesses with disruptive technologies, and holds a BBA in Corporate Finance from Emory University.
Harley brings extensive leadership experience across finance, operations, and public service. He was CFO of Green Source Holdings, COO of a real estate software company, and earlier worked in investment banking at Lehman Brothers and as Legislative Director in the U.S. Senate. He began his career as an officer in the U.S. Marine Corps and holds a B.A. in Economics from Washington and Lee University and an MBA from the University of Virginia.
Erik brings over 17 years of experience in embedded hardware and software design, spanning wireless platforms, IoT devices, and secure SoC architectures. Before joining Octavo, he was Principal Systems Architect at Mango Communications and previously led SoC Security Architecture at Texas Instruments. He has contributed to open-source projects such as Linux and WARP, holds patents in SiP technology, and earned both his BSEE and MEE from Rice University.
Greg brings over a decade of experience helping customers adopt new technologies to achieve their business goals. Before joining Octavo, he was an Account Manager at Texas Instruments, where he led strategy for high-temperature electronics and precision ADC product lines and helped define new products that strengthened TI’s market position. He also worked as a consultant supporting large-scale telecom software implementations and holds an MBA, M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering, and B.S. in Computer Engineering from Georgia Tech.
Martin brings extensive experience in business development and sales within the embedded systems industry. Before joining Octavo, he was Business Development Director at Z3 Technology, where he grew OEM and end equipment businesses through direct accounts and channel partners. He also spent over 15 years with Texas Instruments in embedded processing, marketing, and channel management, and holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Arizona.
Josh brings over 20 years of experience in business and marketing management, including 13 years in Silicon Valley leading growth for global technology organizations. He previously helped scale TrueNAS revenue from $25M to $100M while working in the computer server hardware industry and now serves as Marketing Director for Octavo Systems, driving brand strategy and market expansion. He earned a Bachelor’s in Business and IT Management from Western Governors University and holds six certifications in B2B marketing.
The Founders
Gene is a Fellow of the IEEE and member of the National Academy of Engineering with more than 70 patents and over 100 published papers in memories, DSP, consumer products, and SiP technology. He began his career as a Product Engineer at Texas Instruments after serving in the U.S. Army Communications Command and has since presented at universities and conferences worldwide. Gene holds a BSE from the University of Central Florida, an MSEE from Southern Methodist University, and an MBA from Texas Tech University.
Masood is a leader in semiconductor packaging innovation, holding 25 patents from his work at Texas Instruments and contributing to more than 10 additional patents at Octavo Systems. He has authored over 15 papers on packaging and System-in-Package technology and helped pioneer new methodologies in package and assembly development processes. Masood earned his BTech in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, and an MSc in Naval Architecture from University College, University of London.
Peter brings deep expertise in semiconductor design, cybersecurity, and blockchain technologies. He began his career at Texas Instruments as a memory chip and CPU designer before founding and leading the primary design center for Nanya Technologies. A CISSP-certified cybersecurity professional, he has also consulted on blockchain network software projects and holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT.
