Altium Symbol Library now Available for OSD335x

At Octavo Systems, we are always looking for ways to help designers be more productive, be it with application notes, tutorials, reference designs, or design collateral. The goal of our System-in-Package technology is to create modular building blocks that abstract away tedious, repetitive, and complex tasks that designers are forced to spend time on, but don’t really add value to the end system so that they can create better, more innovate products.

Today we took another step in making designing with Octavo Systems devices easier by adding an Altium symbol library for the OSD335x-SM for you to download from our website.  Scroll down to the link to download.

Faster Layout Using Altium Symbol Library

Altium is one of the world’s leading PCB design software companies, with over 30 years of continuous support. Many of our customers have gravitated to Altium based on their easy to use design system. We are pleased to add the Octavo Systems OSD335x System-in-Package to the Altium library.

By taking this step, designers now have several options for schematic capture and layout programs that they can use when designing with the Octavo Systems OSD335x-SM SiP. Along with Altium, you can also find Eagle and OrCAD symbols on our website.

OSD335x System-in-Package Technology Simplifies Designs

At our heart, Octavo Systems is a Systems Integration company with simplifying your layout, reducing your supply chain headaches, reducing the size of your products, and reducing your time to market are the overarching principals behind our products. The OSD335x-SM contains the Texas Instruments Sitara™ ARM® Cortex®-A8 AM335x processor, DDR3 memory, TPS65217C PMIC, TL5209 LDO, 4KB of EEPROM and overs 100 passives into a single BGA package. At 21mm X 21mm, it is 60% smaller than the discrete components and 40% smaller than the OSD335x. We integrate the time-consuming parts of system design so you can focus on what differentiates your product.
