QUESTION 1
The reference design notes for clock circuitry show Figures 1, 2 (copied from AM3358) with OSCx_GND pins connected to DGND. However, Figure 3 and all eval board schematics show no external connection to OSCx_GND pins.
Are OSCx_GND pins connected to DGND inside the OSM3358 SiP, or should there be an external connection to DGND?
QUESTION 2
Instead of a crystal, if I use a clock oscillator (e.g. SIT8008), how do I connect this clock oscillator chip’s GND pin?
(a) only to OSCx_GND pin?
(b) only to DGND?
(c) to both?

Dion,
1. OSCx_GND pins are connected to ground inside the SiP. So, there is no need to have an external ground connection for the OSCx_GND
2. You can connect the ground pin of the oscillator to DGND or to OSCx_GND as the pin is connected to ground internally
