EEPROM programming via JTAG

back in the process of board-bringup and fallen foul of a blank EEPROM.

Rather than building u-boot to bypass the EEPROM, for production it would be much simpler if we could just programme the EEPROM on fresh boards. Do you know of any code available that we could download via the JTAG to the main processor which would, in turn, programme the EEPROM?
