      Hi,

      In your stm32mp1-cubemx-tutorial below:

      STM32MP1 CubeMX Tutorial for OSD32MP15x

      Says:

“The CubeMX Project Manager can generate partial Linux® Device Trees for the ARM® Cortex®-A7 cores. It also can generate initialization C code for the ARM® Cortex®-M4 core for several tool-chains and IDEs. You are free to use any supported tool-chain. However, the M4 initialization C code of the minimal CubeMX Project has only been tested on the System Workbench for STM32 IDE (i.e., SW4STM32) with the STM32Cube FW_MP1 V1.0.1 firmware package. The partial device tree output files of the minimal CubeMX Project have been tested on the OSD32MP157C running OpenSTLinux Developer Package v1.0.0.”

Are you migrating it to the las ST Developer Package v1.2.0? When would it be available?

      Thanks
      Alberto

        Alberto,

Thanks for bringing this to our attention.  We have successfully run the OSD32MP1 on the latest ST Developer Package.  However, we have not yet updated the tutorial to reflect this.  We will update the tutorial documentation in the next couple weeks.

If you have any other specific questions, please let us know.

        Thanks,

        Erik

        Hi,

I have checked that you have included a new yocto and Debian Image for the osd32mp1-brk:

        OSD32MP1-BRK Getting Started

Any news about the update of the manual to this BSP 1.2 version? I would like to have access to the steps that you have followed to create the yocto and the Debian Images. It is also important to have access to the tf-a, u-boot and kernel sources that you have used, just in case any modification in the DT files or sources is needed. And also the access to the .ioc used configuration for the CubeMX.

        Thanks
        Alberto

          Hey Alberto,

We are currently working on application notes to generate the images and will make the device tree source files for the board along with an update to the existing CubeMX app note available in the coming weeks. We will keep you updated here.

          Best,

          Neeraj

Is the kernel source available yet? I just ran into a snag missing a module I need (snd-aloop). I think I could compile it myself if I had the source, but I’m often wrong. I tried installing linux-image-armmp from the Debian repo, which does have the module, but it didn’t switch to that kernel after rebooting.

              Fury,

You should be able to cross compile and update the kernel using the Developer Package: https://wiki.st.com/stm32mpu/wiki/STM32MP1_Developer_Package.

              Best,

              Neeraj
