Forums › Devices › OSD32MP15x › USB high-speed PCB track length matching
hello,
According to AN5031 document by ST (Getting started with STM32MP151, STM32MP153
and STM32MP157 line hardware development), page 69:
“Each package has been optimized to provide easier length matching when differential balls
pair signals are not directly on adjacent balls.”.
Same situation takes place in the OSD32MP153C-512M-BAA.
Is there an internal package length difference I can take into consideration while routing USB_DP2 and USB_DM2?
thanks
Gil
Gil,
Please see requested information below:
USB1
USB1_N 15379.511 559.346
USB1_P 14820.165
USB2
USB2_N 18453.704 572.107
USB2_P 17881.597
Note that all lengths are in microns.
Best,
Neeraj
hello Neeraj,
I am sorry, but I do not understand your answer.
What do the numbers represent?
USB2_N has two numbers. USB2_P has one number.
I need the routing length difference, inside the SIP package, between USB_DM2 and USB_DP2.
thank you
Gil
Hello Gil,
Please see this post that covers your question.
