These are Really Nice Boards!

Just got my RED board this week. This is a really cool looking dev-board. People who appreciate well-constructed and aesthetically pleasing PCBs are really going to like these.

The quality of construction is on par with a typical beaglebone, but this has all the features I wish the Rev C beaglebones would have.

-Finally a USB micro type B connector. Thanks.

-Power button in a better location away from the RJ45 connector.

-Plenty of USB ports.

-1G Ethernet Phy.

-More onboard flash. Nice

Plus all the other cool MEMs devices.

Pricey compared to a beaglebone but totally worth if you like really nice boards.

Question for Octavo: How come you didn’t use the Green header connectors on the production boards? I think the green connectors look cooler.

Thanks.  When we did the production run our manufacturer swapped those out with the black ones.  Same functionality but I agree that the green ones look cooler 🙂
