Hello,
Is there a method to reprogram the STPMIC1’s non-volatile memory (NVM) without powering up all of the regulators? The default NVM contents set the SIP up for a 5V Vin, a 3.3V VDD, and an auto turn-on. It would be really helpful to have a method to change that (e.g., Vin = 3.3V, VDD = 1.8V) in-system without powering up the regulators and damaging other devices on our board.
The alternative is that we have to develop a custom programming fixture in order to program the SIPs before PCB assembly. In reading the SIP and STPMIC datasheets, it wasn’t clear that there is a way to reprogram the NVM without resorting to the full power on state (which would enable the regulators and power up the rest of our board).
In absence of that, does Octavo offer SIP part numbers with different default NVM contents?
Please let me know. Thanks.
Ed,
