Recreate CAN bus configuration of OSD32MP15-RED Rev. v1.1

Hello there,

we are trying to recreate the CAN bus configuration found on the OSD32MP15-RED’s firmware in a similar in-house developed firmware.
Basically we want to run the OSD32MP15-RED with our own firmware and keep using CAN bus.
However, we can not get the can0 interface to work, whenever we try communicating via can0, the interface goes into bus-off mode.

We did reapply the CAN related settings of the device tree in our own firmware and also matched the linux lernel configuration as much as we could. (although we are not 100% convinced that it is exactly like in the OSD firmware).

Is there a chance to get some more documentation on how the CAN interface is configured in the firmware level?
Specifically we wonder about the exact Linux Kernel config, driver modules and maybe network configuration steos that were taken while building your firmware.
