OpenSTLinux 6.6 / Yocto Scarthgap support

Yocto Kirkstone support is planned to end in April 2026.
We are currently building a product based on the current Yocto LTS, Scarthgap, which is already supported by OpenSTLinux 6.6.

Are there plans to support Yocto Scarthgap in meta-octavo-osd32mp1, and what is the roadmap?

I just pushed an update to the meta-octavo layer here: https://github.com/octavosystems/meta-octavo-osd32mp1/tree/scarthgap. This update only supports the BRK. I am working on adding the RED board. Please let me know if you have any issues.

Hi Neeraj.

Thanks a lot! I will check the changes in the device tree for the BRK and see what needs to be done for our own board.
I won’t need the RED board support immediately but it could be helpful in the future.

I will report any issues I find.
