Tagged: DISPLAY Problem, HDMI, HDMI Connector
Dear Team
we found a mistake in MICRO HDMI Connector pin details mentioned in Reference design of OSD3358-RED BOARD & C-SIP BOARD REFERENCE DESIGN. Actual pins on HDMI connectors are in zig-zag pattern, in reference design it is taken in sequence. Standard molex HDMI type D Connector pin naming is also attached for reference.
Attachment is given for reference. This could lead to a failure of HDMI feature in hardware.
Hardik,
You are correct. The pin layout for the Micro-HDMI connector is mislabelled. Note that however, the hardware layout is correct and verified to be working. It is just the symbol pin numbers not matching the correct pins of the connector. We will correct this ASAP. Thanks for pointing this out.
Best,
Neeraj
