Tagged: Stm32mp1 STM32CubeMX
Hi folks there is a problem getting the dtb files built on fresh latest CubeMX.
Do not migrate the first time you open the project it nukes the user code open the project select backup and build c/h files. Save the project generate the code and only then migrate.
Once migrated your RCC settings will be broken do not run the clock fix you need to go to the RCC settings and select the source as crystal you can then save and generate code.
I will need to port it to a 157F device to support 1Ghz ethernet comparing the minimal to DK2 options.
Hoeo this helps.
Hello,
what ST Ecosystem did you use? I have been migrating to the 3.1.0 from 2.1.0 and it gave me a headache before the device booted because the clock issues in TF-A tree xD
Hi there i assume you refering to the yocto project version ? thanks for the heads up i have not got a OSD device yet to try boot on i do have the DK2 board. thank you for the feedback
Gregory & Tomas,
Thank you so much for the inputs on this issue. We are updating the CubeMX app note and will try to address migrating issues in the next revision.
Best,
Neeraj
Do you plan to update said app-note with other variants?
The app-note STM32MP1 CubeMX Tutorial for OSD32MP15x – Octavo Systems, specifically step 3 in the pre-reqs suggest there are minimal_config projects for different part numbers, the file server only has 1 part # – OSD32MP157C-512M-BAA_MinimalConfig.
I am looking for a minimal_config for OSD32MP157F-512M-BAA_MinimalConfig.
mlarkin,
Yes, OSD32MP153C, OSD32MP157C and OSD32MP157F projects will be available part of the app note update.
Best,
Neeraj
@Neeraj,
Is there a roadmap/timeline of when CubeMX app note will be updated and support for v4.0 exists?
mlarkin,
The CubeMX app note has been updated for OpenSTLinux v3.0. The support for OpenSTLinux v4.0 is on the backlog for the apps team. I will update this space once I get a schedule.
Best,
Neeraj
