C-SIP SYS_VOUT Max Current

Hello,
Simple question. You guys list recommended current for SYS_VOUT in table 8-2 as being 500mA but max current as being 3000mA in table 8-1.

In our application we have a daughter card drawing slightly more current than the 500mA, around 700mA.

Do you think we would still be ok, considering the TPS65217 looks like it can handle it?

Will,

The current listed in the datasheet is ideally what you would limit the current of SYS_VOUT to. While it should be okay to draw 700mA, we recommend you draw the additional current from VIN_AC as it is the same voltage.
