I would like to test a board using the OSD3358-512M-BSM via JTAG boundary scan. It has what is labelled like a standard JTAG port, but I can’t find boundary scan descriptors either here, or on the TI site. Is this a standard JTAG port, or is it SWD-only (which doesn’t do boundary scan)? If it supports the JTAG standard, which components are on the scan chain and where would the BSDL descriptors be available?
Cheers,
Tim
Tim,
The only boundary scan capable device within OSD335x is the processor AM335x. The BSDL for the processor is available on the manufacturer’s website(https://www.ti.com/lit/zip/sprm607).
Note that all of the internal connections within the SiP are already validated as part of final test for the device. So, it is not necessary to test them.
Best,
Neeraj
