        Hello !

        I want to add a 24 RGB // panel on my OSD32MP1-BRK.
I need to know the ltdc pin.

        I checked https://github.com/octavosystems/osd32mp1-brk-device-tree/blob/master/stm32mp157-pinctrl-brk.dtsi

From line 377 to 406 we have the pinmux. However any of these pins are available on the board. For instance PI14 for LDC_clk is not visible in the OSD32MP1-BRk pin mapping document.

        What am i missing ?

        Thank you.

          Amin,

Unfortunately, not all of the IO pins of STM32MP1 are exposed on the BRK headers. Specifically, a pin with HSYNC function is not available on the BRK headers. We recommend using a SPI display as an alternative.

If you need to use a big display, please take a look at the Discovery Kit(https://www.st.com/en/evaluation-tools/stm32mp157c-dk2.html)

          Best,

          Neeraj

A SPI display is an awful alternative that you shouldn’t be recommending especially when the product you are selling is specifically intended for it.

HSYNC is available in two pins(PC6 and PI10) and you didn’t bring any of those two out???, what a FAILURE. This makes the BRK paperweight because the beauty of this device is that it has a Linux kernel for displaying information, coupled with the QT Framework and an M4 core for real-time.

            HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT!
