Dear One,
Following step by step the readme file on https://github.com/octavosystems/meta-octavo-osd32mp1,
I get a failure in retrieving one of the components: libiio
It looks like it is not longer available. The log is attached.
thank you,
Gil
Gil,
I believe the error you are seeing is because of the naming convention change of the main branch of libiio repository.
Can you edit: Work_Yocto/layers/meta-openembedded/meta-oe/recipes-support/libiio/libiio_git.bb file in your workspace to replace “branch=master” with “branch=main” and see if that fixes your issue?
I meant to test this before posting, but do not have Ubuntu 20.04 currently.
Please see https://stackoverflow.com/questions/68215012/how-do-i-fix-a-bitbake-failed-to-fetch-git-error for a similar kind of error that was fixed by changing the default branch name.
Best,
Neeraj
