Tagged: USB Device-Tree
Hi,
I have a problem with our BRK board.
We want to use a WLAN USB dongle for a quick internet connection.
That should be possible in general as described here https://community.st.com/t5/stm32-mpus/how-to-use-edimax-ew-7811un-v2-wifi-dongle-on-stm32mp157a-dk1/ta-p/49790
The problem is that when I deactivate the usbotg-config the USB is not working. Also when I activate it is “see new Device is full-speed” when I plug in any USB device but that’s it. Issuing lsusb gives no information about the connected devices just this:
Bus 002 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub
Bus 003 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub
Normally basic information about the device should be available.
I use the latest device tree version https://github.com/octavosystems/OSD32MP1-BRK-device-tree.
I also tried changing it with the help of this article https://wiki.st.com/stm32mpu/wiki/OTG_device_tree_configuration
but without success.
I’m using a Debian 11 image.
Thanks for your help!
Best Julius
