I can see that now you provide Yocto layer for OSD32MP1-BRK.
When will be this meta-octavo-osd32mp1 layer available for the RED board?
We want to use Yocto along with Qt libraries in the RED board

          Hello there,

I’m also looking the BSP for Yocto. We started software development 4 months ago with a St board when there wasn’t Octavo boards available but after get the board the first thing we realized there isn’t support of this board for OpenStLinux. So, do you have some plan to release some support for OpenStLinux?

Thanks in advance for your answer.

              Hi Neeraj,

              Any progress/ETA on this topic?
I managed to built a bootable image with a mix of different available resources, but found some issues.
The most relevant is that some Qt libraries are missed when generating the image using the BRK’s BSP.
Those libraries are located in sysroots/cortexa7t2hf-neon-vfpv4-ostl-linux-gnueabi/usr/lib, so I just copied them to the SD.
Why are not included in the image?
A part from this, I also faced some performance issues running QML applications and slow bandwith using the Ethernet connection. This may be due to the custom built though, so I’ll wait for the RED BSP.

                    imahgin,

You should find the latest updates on meta-octavo-osd32mp1 repo now. Note that there are still a couple of issues we are working on fixing. Please use the SD card interface for development for now.

                    Neeraj
