Errata in tech docs

The schematic PDF technical document says — page 3, see attached JPG — that there is a “Ferrite bead” that must be removed to use a power supply independent from the default USB power. In the schematic it appears “L1” is the aforementioned bead.
Unfortunately there is no “L1” labeled on the BRK. And none of the surface mount parts are obvious as the correct part to remove.
Please advise (with marked-up photo if at ALL possible) where “L1” is located, or whether the PDF is obsolete and there is no such part.
